Alessandro Balvedi

Dr Alex Balvedi holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering, in the field of sound and vibration. With over 15 years of experience in the automotive and oil & gas industries, he has held various leadership roles in R&D, strategic marketing and business development. Dr Balvedi began his career in the USA and Europe, and has been with Hottinger Brüel & Kjær since 2018. He currently serves as the business development manager for the APAC region at Discom, an HBK subsidiary and leading provider of NVH systems for powertrain analysis and acoustic quality control.

Detecting gear noise: advanced testing methods for quality assurance
